In this introduction to "Being a Member of God's Church" we establish a foundation for learning together over the next several weeks. Today, we clearly define God's church and examine the history, future, and organization of the church.

As members of God's church we're not only encouraged but instructed to be in constant prayer to God. This week, we discuss how we can better communicate openly and honestly with God.

As Christians, we need to be digging into God's word daily. There are many benefits to do so. God word leads us away from sin, provides direction, stands forever, sustains us, aligns our will with God's, is useful for so many things. Get started today!

As Christians and members of God's church, we are called to faithfully gather together with other believers and there are many benefits to doing so.

When we give back to God, it's important that we give with a cheerful heart. God has blessed us with so much more than we need and it is a joy to be able to give back to Him.

A church needs both great leaders and great followers. If we want to be a member of God's church, we need to follow the leadership of the church which also means following Jesus, the ultimate leader of our church!

Once we repent and are baptized, we receive the Holy Spirit and have access to these amazing gifts. It's our job to discover what our spiritual gifts are and to use them.

The message we carry as members of God's church is of the upmost importance and it is imperative we share it with others.
